Romance Week: Deserted Island with author Suzanne Selfors

 Today we have two posts scheduled... first up is a special Deserted Island post with YA author Suzanne Selfors, author of The Sweetest Spell and Mad Love.

Hmmmm, that's tough. Let's start with books.

Well, being a common sense kinda gal, I'd certainly want a seaweed cookbook, and maybe a Girl Scout survival guide of some sort because I have no idea how to make a fire from scratch and seaweed soup probably needs a fire. For entertaining reading I'd choose The Collected Works of William Shakespeare, and Words You Should Know because I'd finally have time to build that vocabulary I've always wanted to possess. And for pure pure pure entertainment, I'd request the Downtown Abby scripts, because who doesn't love that show?

As for items, chocolate is a must since I eat it every day. And espresso is mandatory, since I'm an addict. I'd need a pencil and pad of paper since I'm a writer. That leaves only one more item--my dog. Love. My. Dog.

Suzanne  is the author of Mad Love, Coffeehouse Angel and Saving Juliet as well as middle-grade novels, including Smells Like A Dog. She held a number of jobs before becoming a writer, including children's photographer, video producer, organic flower grower, and marketing director. 

She lives on an island near Seattle, Washington where it rains all the time, which is why she tends to write about cloudy, moss-covered, green places.

She's married, has two kids, and writes full time.

Her favorite writers are Kurt Vonnegut, Charles Dickens, and most especially, Roald Dahl.
