Books I Enjoyed but Rarely Talk About | TTT

via That Artsy Reader Girl

Orphan Train A House in the Sky The Happiness Project Save the Date Heist Society

Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline - I found the CD audio book version at a thrift store and adored the narrator and the story. I'm actually planning to lend it to my mother in law once we can visit each other again.

A House in the Sky by Amanda Lindhout - This was gifted to me by my brother. I wasn't even sure what the book was about, but I did a mixture of reading the print copy and listening to the audio book during the long drive to my Dad's and I really enjoyed the book - from her wondrous descriptions of the places she traveled to the horrific details of being a captive in Somalia.

The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin - This is a book that I enjoyed many years ago and have annotated with sticky tabs. I really think this might be the right time to do a re-read and add more annotations. Adding to my May TBR!

Save the Date by Mary Kay Andrews - My very first MKA and I adored it. Look at the cute cover! I actually listened to this one summer when we lived at the big house and was spending the day on the riding lawn mower cutting the acres of yard we had. It helped make the chore pass by quickly and I fell in love with the main characters!

Heist Society by Ally Carter - I love a good heist book and this YA version is perfect. I binged the whole series and want more!!!

Goodnight, Tweetheart Year of Yes The Heroine's Bookshelf Confessions of a Domestic Failure Station Eleven

Goodnight, Tweetheart by Teresa Medeiros - This is such a cute read. Imagine falling in love over twitter?! It's a very quick read and one of my top comedic romances. I should recommend it more often!

Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes - I had heard about this book often, but kept putting it off. I felt like I said yes too often in life and was worried this would irritate me, but completely the opposite happened. I need to buy myself a copy.

The Heroine's Bookshelf: Life Lessons, from Jane Austen to Laure Ingalls Wilder by Erin Blakemore - This is another that I want to find a physical copy for my collection. I had this amazing plan to read all the books mentioned in the book, but feel like I need to own a copy of this before attempting that self challenge.

Confessions of a Domestic Failure by Bunmi Laditan - Canadian author, content that I could relate to as a new mother, comedic, perfect timing!

Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel - Okay another that listened to the audio book version of and was blown away. I know it's popular, but I never talk about this book. I now own a copy thanks to the little free library in my apartment building. I want to do a re-read, but the timing is not perfect for me right now.

What books do you love but rarely talk about? Let me know in the comments.
