Luc Chevalier is a satisfied man — or so he thinks. His businesses are thriving, he has all the excitement, money and beautiful women any man could want. He dines at the best restaurants and stays at the most luxurious hotels as he makes his way around the globe. So why does he suddenly find himself so restless?

Megan Sullivan is a single mom with a rather ordinary life. She is comfortable with things just the way they are. She has a six-year-old son, Elliott, a cozy house in Burlington, Vermont, and a photography business to put food on the table. Her ex lives hours away in Florida, providing enough space for him to feed his drug addiction without exposing Elliott to his father's illness. Megan is on her own and she intends to keep it that way.

Megan is convinced by her best friend to take a trip to Paris for a few days. Little does she know she is about to be thrust into the arms of Luc Chevalier, a sex god if ever there was one. They agree to one night together and no more. In those few short hours he manages to draw out the vixen that Megan has carefully hidden way for years. Once she has a taste of what she's been missing, she finds it almost impossible to go back to her life as it was.

Will two people who don't believe in happily-ever-after manage to put aside their doubts and find their forever?

Join Luc as he discovers that everything he never wanted is the only thing he will ever need.

Here's the fun stuff.... Luc and Megan! Seriously love them together. Megan is a single mom raising a young son. She is an entrepreneur who owns her own photography business and spends a lot of her time working. Luc is a sexy french man she meets in Paris when her best friend convinces her to take a short vacation with her. He is generally a one night stand kinda guy, who puts business ahead of his personal life. But things change once he meets her.

Megan uses the mini vacation in Paris to let her hair down and feel like a lady again - ditching the mom jeans and sweaters for sexy dresses and high heels. When she meets Luc at a club he owns they have this instant attraction and she fights it. She doesn't want a one night stand and has a son at home to think about. She gives in to the urge to be with Luc and Luc starts to actually woo her.

Their whirlwind romance is insanely passionate. They make you wish that you could experience something of this magnitude. It's intense yet sweet. It's heart wrenching and thrilling all rolled into one.

I think having both of their perspectives was a great touch to understanding Luc's aversion to relationships and Megan's thought process of finally letting go and giving love a chance again. Their story honestly gripped me from beginning to end. I had emotional outbursts - I think I even yelled at Luc during a scene that just about ripped my heart out. And honestly, I ugly cried a few times.

Even though I hadn't read the first book in the Full Hearts series, it wasn't necessary to have read it before getting into this book. It's one of those series where the characters are from the same town/city, so it was a lovely little peak into the community. Can't wait to go back and read Break In Two to see what M.J. has in store for those characters.
