I just signed up for the Canadian Reading Challenge - awesome news - there is no minimum limit for the challenge AND you can read books by Canadian authors OR books set in Canada.
I am pretty stoked for this one. I have quite a few in mind already and am working on an audiobook already that will fit nicely into this challenge.
I am going to aim for three books, but hopefully I will get to more.
HOSTED BY: Marie of Ramblings of a Daydreamer, Sarah from Workaday Reads and
Patricia Lynne, YA author
Click here for all of the details! Oh and there are prizes.
1) The Painted Girls by Cathy Marie Buchanan
2) Ten Tiny Breaths by K.A. Tucker
3)
I will keep updating this post as I complete books that fit this challenge!
This sounds interesting, but I do not know of a single book that fits this description. This saddens me. :( Which ones are you thinking?
ReplyDeleteHere is a link that shows the Canadian authors that I have reviewed in the past.
DeleteI'm already listening to The Painted Girls by Cathy Marie Buchanan, I have an ARC of Ten Tiny Breaths by K.A. Tucker and I have a handful of other books on my shelves by Canadian authors that I need to get to. :)
The Book Mine Set hosts a Canadian reading challenge each year (July 1-June 30) and the wrap-up post for 2012/2013 has a list of all the books reviewed by the participants, as well as links to the reviews - http://www.bookmineset.com/2013/07/the-6th-canadian-book-challenge-wrap-up.html
DeleteThanks Sarah. I had seen that challenge before, but forgot what it was called. :) Bookmarked it!
DeleteSo glad you're participating, Chrystal! I just found out today that KA Tucker is Canadian, so I'm going to have to somehow get my hands on a copy of Ten Tiny Breaths. Good luck! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm just starting that book - so far so good! :)
