LITERATURE
Now lets see... what is literature? Literature is defined in many different ways, so I will go with the one that I consider it to be for myself - literary fiction. I would have to say that the way in which I am challenging myself the most to get more literary fiction into my reading diet is by reading more books from Boxall's 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die.
Some of the books I have loved over the years include:
-To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee
-Catcher in the Rye by JD Saligner
-Lord of the Flies by William Golding
-A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini
And books on my to read list this year include:
-Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
-Gone With the Wind by Margaret Mitchell
Gone With the Wind is HUGE, but it's so good! I have three old school hardback copies of it! I can't wait to see what you think?!
