Armchair BEA - Blogger Development and Fiction Genre

DEVELOPMENT

I would have to say over the years I have developed quite a lot as a blogger. I've branched out with social media (facebook, twitter and pinterest). Some of the social media I use more often than others, but I'm still learning and figuring out what I have time for. Scheduling is another area that I am still struggling with (mostly due to lifestyle changes that conflict with blogging and reading/writing slumps). 

I've learned to reach out more and comment on other bloggers posts as a way to get to know the community, spread my name and have some great in depth conversations with fellow readers. 

This year I am also learning to stop doing what I "think" I should be doing blog wise and start doing what I want to do and what fits in with my everyday life. No more over scheduling, no more panic attacks that I forgot something, and no more trying to keep up with the Jones'.

There are some things that I would love to learn more about: SEO, possibly switching from Blogger to Wordpress (this is all dependent upon how much I blog this coming year) and writing more thoughtful reviews. 

FICTION

I am a big lover of many types of fiction novel. I have an eclectic taste in reading and have been branching out more and more this year. I do however have a sweet spot for zombies, werewolves and vampires. I love a good romance and I'm keen on reading books with ore daring topics as well. I'm always up for a good challenge.
