IMM (73)

IMM (In My Mailbox) is hosted by the amazing Kristi - The Story Siren!

BOUGHT

I broke down and bought this as Walmart on Wednesday night - it was on sale.
I snuck it into the cart with the groceries... think Greg noticed?

Bought this one tonight because of Greg - he thinks I have too many things ie. too many books.

I told him, "There is no such thing as too many books. It's called a personal library."

GIFTED

My BFF Aislynn (from Stitch Read Cook) found a SIGNED copy of The Golden Book of Faerie by O.R. Melling and she gave it to me. How freaking amazing is that? She knew how much I loved this series and bought it just for me. She is the best BFF ever! (The Golden Book of Faerie contains the entire Chronicles of Faerie Series: The Hunter's Moon / The Summer King / The Light-bearer's Daughter / The Book of Dreams.) I even hosted O.R. Melling during the Canada Day Blog Hop event last year.

FOR REVIEW

Wander Dust came directly from author Michelle Warren
Remembrance came directly from Michelle Madow
The Zombie Story and Dead Relatives are for a blog tour via Bewitching Book Tours
(the above are all ebooks for review)

  1. LOL. My mother thinks that I have too many books as well. LOL. Yes, personal libraries are good.

  2. Haha I love how you "snuck" a book home in the groceries! My hubby also thinks that I have way too many books and he was trying to convince me to just get an e-reader and get rid my books and I'm like um... no way!! I tried to explain that a home isn't a home without books! :)

I would love to read Wander Dust and Remembrance-- hope you enjoy everything you got this week!

You can check out my IMM for this week at the link below :D

    1. I sneak books all the time. The pile at home is so big he doesn't notice it growing by one or two here and there. :)

I have an e-reader as well, but mostly it's for reviews as I receive a lot of ePub files from authors for review. I feel that if I'm paying the money I want a real book in my hand. :)

  3. Haha that's funny that you were "forced" to buy a de-clutter book. Books do tend to pile up when you're a blogger. Enjoy your Sunday!

    1. I needed to tidy up the ridiculous piles of books I had all over the place. I keep telling him that we need a two bedroom apartment so that I can have a library - to me it's win/win... he gets to see less books and I get a library. ;)

Maybe after the wedding we will move into a bigger space. LOL

  4. Why does it seem like our significant others seem to think we have to many books? I know my husband is always telling me that and is now starting to say that I am influencing my 8 year old as well hehe I personally think hey he is reading and he has his own little library why discourage that.

    Great books BTW.

    1. Books are important, don't they know that? Hubby likes sports and I like books, I figure between us we will have well rounded children (when we finally have kids). LOL
