WEEK FIVE of HCC March Madness started today! GO VOTE!
For those who do not know what HCC March Madness is:
64 books are divided into four brackets. Each bracket book faces off one-on-one while we the voters pick a winner out of the two books to move on to the next round. This keeps repeating as books are eliminated and eventually four books will each ‘win’ their bracket and face off for the finals.
This week we are down to four books and sadly none of the books I was rooting for made it past round three, BUT you can still go vote for the remaining books and be entered to win some great prizes!

Oh, fun! I didn't even know this was happening! In a similar vein, I've been obsessively following School Library Journal's Battle of the Books. The twist is, rather than people voting, each round is judged by a well-known author. Reading their reviews of each book pairing is one of my favorite parts of every morning!
