I really would like to try and do a VLOG one day, but this weekend I am really sick so probably not the best to make one.

This week I received my first book for review - from a Goodreads contest I entered. It is non-fiction, but a topic I really enjoy learning about - PHOTOGRAPHY! It looks really good - lots of pretty photos, 10 different authors inside and great tips and techniques. Expressive Photography: The Shutter Sisters' Guide to Shooting from the Heart.

And secondly, I finally got that parcel from UPS. It was the book I ordered! Faerie Fate by Silver James. This has adult content so I am not sure if I will be posting a review of it on my blog or not yet. I will post reviews elsewhere though. I am really excited about this book as I won a contest to help Ms. James write a secondary character in the third book of the series - which she is currently writing. So to prepare I have bought this first book to understand the plot, locatoin etc better. It's very exciting because she is going to put my name in the acknowledgement section once it's published!

And the last one to post is the one I bought while I was wandering around Walmart (they have good prices on books and I was ever so tempted to buy more because they had a 2/$15. 2/$20 and 2/$30 sale). I picked up a copy of Sunshine by Robin McKinley. Yet another vampire book, but this one looks good. The cover is all happy, yellow and sparkly.

I was also contacted by a few self published authors to read their books and post reviews. Apparently not many reviewers like reading self published books, but I am willing to give them a chance. Plus, it is an eclectic mix I have been offered. I am super excited and will make a blog post sometime this week about them as there will be a Blog Tour in Novemeber for one of the authors. :)
