I am very excited to have not one, but two bloggers featured this week for Deserted Island. I'm happy to welcome Brianna and J9 from The Book Vixen. So let's see how they answered the questions and what items they wanted on the island with them.
Books:
Brianna: The Chronicles of Narnia by
C.S. Lewis - I have yet to read these books and since it's the entire
collection of Narnia books, it should take me a while to read through
them.
Brianna: The Stand by Stephen King - It was between this and Needful Things but I went with The Stand because (1) it's longer and (2) perhaps J9 and I would be able to learn some survival techniques from the book.
Brianna: The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks - I am not a re-reader but I could read this story again and again. And I think it would be a great book to read aloud to J9. *giggles*
J9: Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake by Sarah MacLean because I could re-read this a million times and never be bored with it.
J9: Heart of the Warrior by Donya Lynne because it's a stellar, angsty MM romance with an outstanding paranormal world that I often reread.

Brianna: Chocolate. Like a TON of chocolate. I could seriously live off of chocolate to survive.
Brianna: One of those mummy sleeping bags with insulation that can keep you warm in 0 degree weather.
Brianna: A fully charged satellite phone. So that when J9 and I are done with our island vacation, we can call for someone to rescue us.
J9: My running shoes & socks (a runner can't have one without the other so I'm counting as one item!)

DeleteToo fun! Love this post, but I've only read one of those books. O.O (The Chronicles of Narnia)...I'm thinking I need to add to my tbr...again! smiles!
