We met and fell in love in the sleepy farming community of Meadowview, while we rode our horses together through the grassy fields and in those moments in each other's arms.

It should be

ROSE & NOAH

forever, easy.

But it won't be.

Because he's Amish.
And I'm not.

Here's the thing, I've always had a curiousity about the Amish community and when the opportunity came up to read a love story involving an English girl and an Amish guy, I was sold. I needed to read this book. 

I knew from the start that this book would be interesting both love story wise and also for learning about the Amish ways. Rose and Noah are so sweet together, though I'm not a complete believer in love at first sight, so it was a little hard for me to adjust to the fact that they fall for each other so quickly. I felt like it was more lust at first sight since they were extremely attracted to one another, but didn't really know that much about each other. Noah is always trying to be a gentleman, though his hormones seem to get the best of him from time to time. And as Rose is English, she has a harder time holding back her emotions and reactions to his presence.

I think the turning point for me was when when Rose and Noah are almost forced apart by uncontrollable circumstances. Honestly, their dedication to one another shone through at this point and perhaps was the thing that changed their parents' minds a little about their relationship.

I wasn't really sure where their relationship would go considering their different lifestyles, but one of the would have to make the change so that their lives can continue together. I just hoped it would have been Noah leaving the Amish for Rose, but I guess the series wouldn't have been nearly as interesting as it is since it's about Rose deciding to become Amish for Noah.

It was very educational in learning about Amish customs and their beliefs. I already had learned a bit about some of their ways, but didn't realize that different Amish communities had different rules - some are more strict than others. I found it interesting how courtship worked in the belief system and think that anyone turning from English to Amish would be in for a surprise. 

I'm looking forward to seeing if their love can survive the changes needed to keep them together. And also how Rose's relationship with her family works now that she has chosen to try being Amish.
