I just signed up for My Bookish 2012 New Year's Resolutions Challenge (MB2012NYRC) over at Butterly-o-Meter Books!
Runs: January 1 2012 - December 31 2012. You can sign up to participate at any time from the moment this is posted until the end of 2012, it's your set of resolutions, so have fun with it.
Challenge: think up your bookish list of resolutions for 2012, it can be anything related to bookish things (including completing other challenges you're participating in as long as they're bookish-related)

My Bookish 2012 New Year's Resolutions
*Complete the 2012 TBR Pile Reading Challenge where I signed up to read 21-30 books from my gianormous TBR pile.
*Read 3 Julia Quinn novels for The 2012 Julia Quinn Reading Challenge (I only signed up for three as I have a gigantor TBR pile and I do not read as many adult romances as I used to and Julia Quinn's work is new to me).
*Finish reading the Anita Blake Series by Laurell K. Hamilton. I need to read Skin Trade, Flirt, Bullet and Hit List. I may or may not review them on my blog as they are VERY ADULT books, but I will definitely review them for goodreads/amazon, etc.
*Read the Maggie O'Dell Series by Alex Kava (This is one of Greg's favourite authors and I promised to try her books one day, so why not now?)
*Host the 2nd Annual Romance Week in February with my BFF Aislynn (Stitch - Read - Cook)
*Work on starting up my new feature - Deserted Island. Starts in January!
*Read 10 zombie books (my newest addiction - thanks to The Bookish Brunette and her 2011 Zombie Craze).
*I'm in love with my Sony Pocket Reader and hope to read at least 20 e-books in 2012.
*Read 100 books in 2012 (I fell extremely short in 2011, but a lot happened this year).
2/9 resolutions
Yeeey, good luck on achieving it all!
ReplyDeleteGod, I have SO many series I need to read it's not even funny...
I totally need to sign up for the TBR Pile Challenge myself *sigh*
BUT we'll do it all, right? Right. Right! :D
Have a fab weekend!
Wow! It's crazy that it's already time to start thinking about what to read and reading challenges for 2012! Good luck with all your goals!
ReplyDelete@Livia - thanks for stopping by and checking out my list! :) Good luck to you!
ReplyDelete@Lisa - I want to be prepared this year, because last year I signed up for WAY TOO MANY challenges and did not really complete them. It's was overwhelming. LOL
Isn't the Sony Pocket awesome! That's what I have and absolutely adore it!
ReplyDeleteGood goals for 2012. My list is ridiculously long already, and it's been that way since September, only growing daily.
Hmm, maybe I should add "Sleep" on that list too, eh?
Smiles!
Lori
@Lori - I love my Sony Reader! And it's PINK! :)
ReplyDeleteI got it last year for Christmas from my fiancee!
Oh my list is longer than what I wrote, but those are the things I would REALLY, REALLY like to accomplish.
This makes me HAPPY!!!! <3
ReplyDelete@Bookish Brunette - I'm so glad I saw this on your blog. :) This is an amazing Challenge and so helpful! :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow, what a cool idea. I'm afraid to put mine in writing! LOL
ReplyDeleteMelina - I know there are so many things I want to do, but I narrowed it down to those and if I accomplish more then excellent and if not then I won't feel bad for not getting it done. Last year I tried to do too many things and accomplished none of my challenges. LOL
