On My Wishlist is a fun weekly meme hosted by Book Chick City and runs every Saturday. It's where we list all the books we desperately want, but haven't had the chance to buy yet. They can be old, new or upcoming. If you want to know more click here.
I already own the five novels that compirse this book, but honestly if you saw this book in person you would know just how gorgeous it was. It is a must have for Holly Black fans. It's magical looking and I really can't wait to own a copy!
FYI, Holly Black is one of the sweetest writers I've met. I got to listen to her speak on a panel at RT last year, and then go to her signing, and she was just so nice and excited to speak with readers, both adult and teen.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy the Spiderwick Chronicles!

I love all of Holly Black's work. And I would die if I had the chance to meet her. :) So jealous!
ReplyDeleteTotally got Holly to sign the cover of my ereader, too! RT had a big YA program last year (this year, too--can't wait!), so I got to listen to/meet Melissa Marr, Melissa de la Cruz, Jennifer Lynn Barnes, Holly Black, Carrie Ryan, Cassandra Clare, Richelle Mead, Stacey Kade, and Patrick Rothfuss (and yes, I know he's not YA, but he's still made of Awesome!).
ReplyDeleteThis year, Stephanie Perkins, Charlaine Harris, and J.R. Ward will be attending. Plus, this'll be the first year *I* get to be a presenter too, since my first YA is coming out in March! Sooooo excited!!!

Oh really? Congrats on the YA release... when will it be out? I'll have to keep my eyes peeled. :)
ReplyDeleteThx! The book's called Bite Me, and it's a "buddy novel" about a surfer boy werewolf and a Buddhist, vegetarian vampire who loathe each other, but have no choice besides working together when a psychotic stalker takes special interest in the pair.
ReplyDeleteThe book comes out in March 2012 through Mundania Press, and I can't wait!
