Follow My Blog Friday | Judging Books By Their Covers

Do you judge a book by it's cover?

Yes - it's hard to not judge a book by it's cover. There so many amazing covers out there that I am drawn to certain styles, certain colours and graphics. I have read a few books that surprised me, though their covers were not appealing at all. So sometimes good things come in terrible packaging. Though I think eye pleasing covers will also draw the desired attention.

I'm the same way, I am definitely guilty of judging a book by how pretty its cover is. :)

  3. I think we all judge a book, whether we want to or not. As long as there are words to paint a new world for me I'm happy.

And I absolutely judge a book by its cover! If I like the cover, I pick it up. It's as simple as that.

  6. Hi E Kelly! Thanks for stopping by. I think covers are an important part of a book - they convey emotions, images etc of a book before you even read the blurb on the back. I find them highly effective when they have either a GREAT or a TERRIBLE cover.
