Wishlist Wednesday (2)
I am really looking for to Zombies vs. Unicorns - two of my favourite things. And well also - HOLLY BLACK! She is one of my fave authors. Would love to meet her and can't wait to read this book. It's coming out September 21st.
"It's a question as old as time itself: which is better, the zombie or the unicorn? In this anthology, edited by Holly Black and Justine Larbalestier (unicorn and zombie, respectively), strong arguments are made for both sides in the form of short stories. Half of the stories portray the strengths--for good and evil--of unicorns and half show the good (and really, really bad-ass) side of zombies. Contributors include many bestselling teen authors, including Cassandra Clare, Libba Bray, Maureen Johnson, Meg Cabot, Scott Westerfeld, and Margo Lanagan. This anthology will have everyone asking: Team Zombie or Team Unicorn?"
On a sidenote:
Anyone able to explain how to BLOCKQUOTE? I cannot for the life of me make it work the way I want it.

This anthology novel sounds so good! You're looking forward to Holly Black's story and I'm most looking forward to reading Cassandra Clare's, lol.
ReplyDeleteAbout the blockquote- I believe you just select the portion you want in the blockquotes and then click the 'quote' button. You can look up the html in Google on how to make it look a it prettier with backgrounds or actual quotations if you want too. Otherwise, it basically just indents your words.
I tried to blockquote on my blog when I was first starting out, but something about it seemed off to me too when I was formatting it because of the background I have, so I was like 'Meh, I just won't do it then.' lol, I still don't blockquote and haven't had the time to really try to make the change. ^.~
I have yet to read Cassandra Clare books... but have heard great things.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info... hopefully I will figure it out soon... I like the look of the coloured blockquote boxes on some blogs. :)
