It was originally thought up by Felicia at Geeky Blogger's Book Blog.
MY RULES1) I can buy 2 books a month or spend a MAX of $20, whichever comes first.2) Only accept/ask for 2 review books per month. Including NetGalley.
*Prices are subject to change as I do not control sales and some of the books listed below are from online specials.
At the end of each month I will post a recap and we will see if I stayed within my limits.
PURCHASED:
I bought After I Do this week because I saw it on so many blogs with amazing reviews. I just had to have it. And I paid $11.20 for it. Maybe it will be the book to get me out of my reading slump?
And an audiobook for $7.99 at Costco. Never read anything by this author before, but willing to try the audiobook.

FREEBIES:
You're just under your budget for the month, so way to go! I'd be too scared to track my spending as far as books are concerned because I tend to get one-click happy sometimes (ok, often!). Your NetGalley rule isn't a bad one mind you because more often than not I find myself swamped with review titles. Enjoy your pretties! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't buy many books, so it's not too hard. And in he coming year I am hoping to buy even less. I plan to use my local library A LOT MORE and shop my shelves. :) And NetGalley is deadly to me... so I have to limit myself. I still have tons of NetGalley books to read that asked for a long time ago, so I feel guilty if I nab more before finishing the others.
DeleteGreat job staying under budget by a few cents :D How to Build a Girl looks interesting!
ReplyDeleteThanks Finley Jayne. I am struggling with How To Build A Girl right now and it's due for blog tour soon. So here's hoping I can get into it and finish before my review is due. I think I'm just not in the right mood that kind of book right now. *sigh*
DeleteI have really enjoyed your library month series. I tried one last year for Canadian Library Month, but it wasn't as popular as I had hoped. ;) Maybe I'll try again next year.
