One day while visiting my in laws, I noticed a cute little blue bird house looking thing on someones lawn down the street. When I took a closer look I realized it was a little library. How fun!
That is when I realized that it was one of the Little Free Library spots. So close to home, yet I had never seen it before.
What is a Little Free Library?
It’s a “take a book, return a book” gathering place where neighbors share their favorite literature and stories. In its most basic form, a Little Free Library is a box full of books where anyone may stop by and pick up a book (or two) and bring back another book to share. You can, too! (source)
Perhaps one day my husband and I could build one of our own? Or perhaps I can just donate some books from time to time.
I'm searching and noticed on the map that there are a few more not far from our town... I might need to go on a Sunday drive to check them out!
Do you have any near you? Do you use them?
