I've always had a thing for Ash, but I might have to change over to Puck. *sigh* Poor Puck, ever the best friend, but never the one. I loved reading from Puck's point of view and seeing how his mind really works - both involving his pranks and his thoughts of Meghan. I always wondered what he was really thinking about and how he decided when to act normal and when to pull pranks.
It's a fun, quick read in which we get to see all the crazy pranks that Puck is always coming up with and finally gets to follow through with. Also, Ms. Kagawa gives a dilema that Puck must figure out: stay true to your friends or do whatever it takes to get your hearts desire? There is a thoughtful side to this story and it's such a tough decision - would you make the same choices given the chance?
Overall, it's a wonderful read filled with much laughter and comical escapades. And I cannot wait for The Iron Knight to come out in the fall. If you haven't read The Iron Fey series yet, make sure to start at the beginning and read the novellas in the correct places - everything will just flow smoothly if you do.

Julie
Kagawa, the New York Times bestselling author of the Iron Fey and

tales faded with time (okay, at least the illustrations did), but the
