Happiness Project Giveaway

The Happiness Project: Or, Why I Spent a Year Trying to Sing in the Morning, Clean My Closets, Fight Right, Read Aristotle, and Generally Have More FunOkay so one of the books the I absolutely loved this year was The Happiness Project by Gretchen Ruben. I LOVED IT! I was going through a tough time with work and was feeling really negative and then I found this book and it is helping to look at life differently and to find the silver lining and to do things that make me happy.

So I thought I would share this book with you so that those of you searching for extra little nudge to make your life a little happier (even if it's not terrible to begin with) can succeed with such an inspirational book.

All you have to do is leave a comment below to tell me one thing that you do that makes you happy. It can be as simple as walking to the library once a week or making your bed every morning so you come home to a nicely made bed. It can be things like sending cards in the mail to cheer people up or adding a new item to a collection you have. Anything at all.... just comment with something that makes you happy.

Open Internationally (wherever Book Depository can mail to). Contest ends July 31st. Winner will be randomly drawn on August 1st. Make sure to leave a way to contact you as well!

  1. What makes me happy is, which I'm sure most of you can relate to, when I buy a new book. I love the feeling that it's mine and I can take it home and add it to my bookshelf. I'm kinda a compulsive book buyer, so I don't know how much more my shelf can stand! But that's just what makes me happy :) Thanks for the giveaway!!

  6. Going to a cafe and just smelling the coffe. I love it! I'll sit down (with a coffee of course) and watch people through the window and just imagine what their stories are. I know kinda crazy!

  10. A smile, a kind word, a hug, a lazy cuddle with my children in the morning when we don't have to rush anywhere.
Writing makes me happy, all these characters bursting out and demanding to be written and reading of course.
Music also makes me happy, a song can uplift your mood and transport you just like books.
And all these little things that make our world shine...
