Katarina Bishop has worn a lot of labels in her short life: Friend. Niece. Daughter. Thief. But for the last two months she’s simply been known as the girl who ran the crew that robbed the greatest museum in the world. That’s why Kat isn’t surprised when she’s asked to steal the infamous Cleopatra Emerald so it can be returned to its rightful owners. There are only three problems. First, the gem hasn’t been seen in public in thirty years. Second, since the fall of the Egyptian empire and the suicide of Cleopatra, no one who holds the emerald keeps it for long — and in Kat’s world, history almost always repeats itself. But it’s the third problem that makes Kat’s crew the most nervous, and that is . . . the emerald is cursed. Kat might be in way over her head, but she’s not going down without a fight. After all, she has her best friend — the gorgeous Hale — and the rest of her crew with her as they chase the Cleopatra around the globe, dodging curses and realizing that the same tricks and cons her family has used for centuries are useless this time. Which means, this time, Katarina Bishop is making up her own rules.
Now for the fun part:

Since I received a hardcover finished copy of Uncommon Criminals for review and I have no room on my bookcase for it... I'm giving my copy away! This contest is open to Canada and US only. (Sorry to my international followers, but low on funds and I'm sending this out myself). Contest ends July 31st and winner will be randomly drawn on August 1st. Don't forget to leave a way to contact you in case you win.

All you have to do is comment below and tell me if you could plan the perfect heist what would you want to steal?

  1. I would want to steal all of Vincent van Gogh's work. He's always been my favourite artist, to the point of crying like a baby when I saw the Doctor Who episode "Vincent and the Doctor."

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  2. If I could pull off the perfect heist, I would probably steal Paul Wesley (from vampire diaries). I know it'd be hard to steal a person, but I bet I could pull it off :) I love Ally Carter and would love to read this book! Thanks for the giveaway!

  3. I would want to steal Mat Kearney. Just for the day. I swear I'd give him back. I would just like to hear him sing to me for one whole day. That's all.

  4. I wouldn't have any use for a piece of famous artwork or anything like that... plus where would you put it?
So I'd probably steal something like a ridiculously expensive pair of shoes or piece of clothing. Maybe a whole COLLECTION of shoes? Hmm....That sounds more practical to me than a painting ;)

  7. I'd probably want to steal either everything from Forever 21, or I'd steal an extremely expensive purse! Sounds awesome.

  8. HMM. Well, if I was going to execute a heist, I'd want it to be something big. Might as well take advantage of my sudden loss of morals, right? ;)

Maybe I could like drop into Buckingham Palace and steal some prized jewels. Are there specific prized jewels? See I DON'T EVEN KNOW LOL. I would fail miserably at this life of crime thing :(

In reality though, I would never attempt something so crazy. I'd probably just steal a candy bar. From the dollar store. I'd also come back later and pay. Darn you, morals!

Haha, thanks so much for the amazing giveaway! :) I am DYING to read this book. Fingers crossed!

  9. Haha, good question. I'd probably pull off a heist at a designer store and pick up a couple thousand dollar dresses to wear around, or maybe some heels.
    Thanks so much!

  10. The perfect heist for me would somehow involve me gaining signed copies of each Harry Potter book and a couple million dollars.

  11. The perfect heist would have to be something untraceable - something they couldn't find me with - like gold - that could be melted down and made into something else and is high in value.
